Prenatal Yoga


In recent years, growing numbers of expectant mothers have benefited from practicing yoga during pregnancy. In addition to the widely known benefits of increasing strength, enhancing flexibility and improving general well-being, yoga promotes oxygen and blood flow, better breathing and emotional well-being.

Pre-natal yoga increases your awareness of proper body alignment to reduce low back pain and sciatica common during pregnancy. Furthermore, yoga's traditional emphasis on better posture helps future mothers by making their spines more supple and resilient. Consistent yoga practice can result in improved control and tone of the pelvic floor.

Breathing is one of the keystones of yoga. Becoming familiar with a variety of breathing techniques empowers expectant mothers with a powerful and natural way to release and manage pain.
